This is an interesting study that was done about people’s favorite books and music. A Caltech student cross-referenced the music people listed as their favorites along with their favorite books and came up with a chart that plots those favorites in relation to their SAT scores.
The fascinating thing is that people who listed “Lil Wayne” as their favorite music were on the bottom of the list of SAT scores and people who listed “The Holy Bible” as their favorite book were also on the bottom. The only people who scored lower than Bible readers were people who read romance/erotica novels.
This last part makes sense to me, considering there’s no educational value to either of those books. That, and there’s only so many ways you can say the words “suck”, “kiss”, “love” and “rub”. The Bible thing just furthers my opinion of people who blindly believe in religion.
